Who should attend?
All Employees.
All staff, to ensure that they are compliant with Health & Safety legislation within their workplace, and to reduce risk of injury to themselves, visitors and contractors entering their premises.

Course aim
To provide staff with information regarding the main health and safety issues within their premises. In addition the course aims:
- To comply with current health and safety moral, contractual and legal obligations
- To improve the efficiency, effectiveness and performance of staff
- To support the current policies and procedures in place with regards to fire safety and health and safety practices within workplace establishments
- To deliver the courses effectively, efficiently and economically in order to achieve best value for our clients. This course can be delivered on the clients own premises or at a designated venue *
Course objectives
This course will enable the student / attendee to:
Be aware of the purpose of health and safety
Be familiarised with the ‘management of health and safety at work regulations (six pack)
Be aware of arrangements and policies provided to protect them in the workplace
Will be familiar with the layout of the facility and the location of service valves and switches
Be aware of their responsibilities under R.I.D.D.O.R regulations (accident reporting)
Be aware of the safe persons concept
Be familiarised with fire safety / extinguisher regulations EN3

Certification
All students will receive an individual certificate of attendance and the company will receive a group certificate for display on the premises. All certificates are included within the price of this course.
